Flying on a computer sure is boring, Thats why i prefer to add a little hunting action in there while I'm at it. You havent had fun until youve been,

Loaded up with about 6000 lbs of bombs. 4 Missiles loaded up, Being shot at in a plane that isnt nowhere as manuverable as you Want it to be, Have 3 SA10's Launched at you (there particularly nasty) All while having a MiG29 At 30k Feet point it's nose at you for a shot you wont have a chance of getting away from.

Sound like fun to anyone else?

Sounds like Janes F15 to me which was an awesome game ;)
So i've always wondered this about FlightSim.... What happens when it all goes wrong.. and what are the missions? :s

Driving round and round the same track can be boring, but you dont start shooting at the opposition there do you ;) !

No... Never. I have a pitcrew for that!

Plus, the way i drive it NEVER gets boring. Always on the limit... Makes things interesting no matter what. Plus, if it does get boring, i slow down for the pack, and let my right front tire do some talking if you know what i mean.

In FS2004, the limit is very boring, i mean, half the fun of flying is the feeling of flight, you cant recreate it on a PC.

Thats why i like to blow stuff up and get shot at while doing my flying, it is just WAY more fun.

No, im not a violent person either, i think you would find that Flight sims happen to be my only combat games strangely enough. Never got into the shooters. (May have to do with me always losing in Goldeneye... GOLDENEYE RULES!!!). However, ever since i saw TopGun when i was like 3, ive always loved fighterjets, simple as that. Plus there really FRICKIN loud!

Especially when your looking one way, and coming from behind you is a F18 approaching the sound-barrier.... THAT is loud. Only thing close is maybe a dragster.

when it all goes wrong and your heading for the ground you've gota brace yourself... for the bouncy earth to bounce you back level.

In other words you just bounce off the ground.. no stunning explosion. :(

Maybe if you change the options to more realistic?

In Falcon BTW, you do get a pretty cool explosion followed by wings breaking off and stuff flying all over.

FSX will certainly be awesome. I can't wait for it to come out in a few months time.

It may require a horrendously powerful PC, but it'll be worth it!

The "missions" are designed to keep you entertained. The two missions with the demo are landing a CRJ at St Maarten and dropping flour bombs on targets.

The full version will contain enhanced gliders (with tow plane!) and the Red Bull Air Race.

Now, who wants to buy me a new PC....?

WHA? Flour Bombs... Hmmm Some modder will turn those in to mk84's... surely enough, then the military jets will actually be worth my time... Hmmm.

Air Race? sounds deadly! whooHOOO!
