Toca 2 touring cars

I updated the game to version 4.1 and when I try to start the game, it shows an error message "You must start TOCA2 from the start menu". The installer didn't create any shortcuts during installation. I also started launcher.exe and clicked Play, nothing happend. So how do I get this working now?

And I am running WinXP pro sp2 of course.

I don't think my TOCA 2 worked on my XP, so I just gave up. Sorry.

I guess it worked before you updated it?

Tried running it in compatability mode?

I seem to recall having the same problem, and spending ages trying to get round. Glyn may be right - try running the installer in compatibility mode.

I've had it working on XP and remember getting an error but can't remember how I solved it :p

It does work - I have Toca 2, and as far as I can remember, I had no problems at all. Are you using the 'Sold Out' version? That's the one I have.

Yep! it's BTCC only, which is good, shame there hasn't been another one for more recent seasons, or even any mods for it.

Careful Chris. TOCA 2 Touring Cars and TOCA Race Driver 1/2/3 are completely different games IIRC.

having said that toca2 can be bought for about a quid probably, yes the graphics are old but its still highly playable...better than any of the toca race drivers :P

Oh that is bumsex, it really is :/

I payed 3.85 for Top Gear magazine, and the demo was with it, so I basically paid 3.85 for the demo, and the better game is a pound.
