Umm is no one else racing today? i just joined and there is no one else here :s

Practice starts at 8 UK time, qually at 9.
That was an awesome practice race everyone, I hope the real thing is as good as that!
I took some shots of my replay, they are crappy quality and mostly of me, but they illustrate how much fun I had!
P.S. 56k users might want to clear the area before their modem explodes.
The start, I didnt do very well, and like an idiot I tried to win the race in the first corner...
...and ran wide, I was now flat last, I would have to pass lots of people to get a decent result.
Fortunately a couple of people decided to get out of my way, here is Neil facing the wrong way.
Lining Chet up for the pass...
...passing chet into turn one...
...running wide and letting him through.
Take 2, this time it stuck.
Chet chased me hard for a couple of laps, until he span, but this allowed Neil to catch up.
The first time he tried to get by was at turn 1, but I took the inside line and managed to hold on.
On his second attempt he got a bit sideways and span, freeing me to chase [EVO]Faster.
[EVO]Faster ran wide in turn one, allowing me by, but hounded me for a couple of laps until I was able to build a small gap and he fell into the clutches of Neil.
Neil closed me down again, going into the last lap, Rich (who had ran out of fuel) came out of the pits right in front of us, but there were no collisions, but Neil did try and pass me...
...note the similarity to the last time he tried to pass me at turn one.
So on the last lap I was second, but Rich managed to get past me thanks to a lag spike (which doesnt make an interesting shot), he was all over the back of me anyway and probably would have passed me anyway.
So if anyone is thinking of racing next week, please come along, its a real blast, and unlike Toban there are no really rubbish corners (but I havn't tried it in the dark yet, and the track has no lights...).

Its ok in the night, even though there are no lights it doesnt get as dark as Toban (weird I know) so theres no problem.

Turn one is about the only place I havn't spun it yet, so you must have been going for it to have gone off at turn one Glyn .
