Cars are fine... just a shame the tracks are still disgusting

most of the tracks arent half bad though. you just need decent set of high-res updates for them and a decent PC

It's just something I can't really describe with the game, I enjoy playing of course, but these issues... grr. Maybe if the colors were changed a bit it would help, it's something with the environment not blending in with the car too.

By the way, I need help with a link to hi-res updates, I couldn't get them somehow. Ended up getting an update for hi-res CAR textures :P.

yeah i know what you mean. it all feels very 'disjoint'

the cars look pretty good, but that game just looks terrible. only in one screenshot has it looked ok.
even your 2nd one looks bad karan - like a cut and paste collage :|

but that 70's gp4 mod on the other hand... :p

But those are photoshopped. Whats the point in showing of game grapgics using photoshopped screens? And even when they are photoshopped, the track graphics are still alot poorer than NR2003, GPL, GTR, GTL, rFactor, LFS and GP4.

Best example is the grass and the part where the kerb meets the grass. It looks flat, dull and lifeless, as does most things in the old ISI engine.

yeah maybe so. but the gp4 screenshot is quite clearly photoshopped too if i was to pick one of the 2 mods though I would go with the f1c version. you're right the tracks are quite lifeless and dull looking but I think the better car models and handling would make up for that.
