rfactor smashes pics

hi there can any1 post pics of the formula1 look alike car crashes i want to see what the damage is like

Just imagine an F1 car with the wings taken off. They break off as wholes. Oh yeah!... the wheels and suspension break off too! Woooo!

Pretty disappointing... but I think it'll improve in time. It's still a fantastic game, and thats coming from someone who's LFS biased.

Edit: although the visual damage is poor, the physical damage is pretty good. Not as good as LFS, but certainly better than GP4 and F1C.

But when you drive the F1s, crashing is just a part of life from what I can tell

It's not great at the moment as others have said, but when you crash hard into the tyres it looks quite good how various bits fly off, but only from a far away camera.

No, its download only, and activation online, through the game. You can buy with credit card (which is done automaicly in the game), or through paypal, where the developers will send you a key to unlock it

altho tbh, if you're still on dialup there's not a terrible lot of point getting in - the main focus (imo) is online racing, and of course the proper mods won't exactly be small dls either.

Hey, I raced on everything for years with 56k!

OK, the downloads were a little fat, but meh, I can be patient.

As Gav said... if you can play NASCAR 2003 on 56k with 40 cars and it not be laggy (the Bullrun springs to mind) then ISI really shouldn't be promoting their net code as much as they do IMO if it doesn't work just as well in rFactor.
