What you can get for £2.99:

-A substantial amount of sweets from the pick&mix
-Two 0.5L bottles of fizz, or a bottle of 1.5L
-Three things from the £1 shop (If you happen to have a space penny in your, I'm sure, bursting-with-notes wallet)

Alternatively if you're not into sweeties, fizz or cheap stuff. You could always give the money to me. I'll use that money to invest in a smart person to come up with more things to spend £2.99 on :)

Funky Truck - The official Vader Trophy Racing Timewaster
BATracer - Online racing strategy game, great fun!

@ Chet: I don't think you'll get it until Thursday. Maybe Wednesday if they want to get the codes out before they release the download.

what are you guys basing your purchase of this game on? The MP demo was crap so im assuming you lot have seen some good movies and like the fact its modable? Someone told me the physics in the MP demo werent the physics for the game and the demo was just to test the netcode but i also heard people say that the physics were awesome and thats why they are buying the game so im rather confused.

the Multiplayer-Demo is based on an very early version of the phsyics and the graphics. ISI developed it further to improve it of course and in the last 10 month there should've been an imense progress.
Though I already like the physics in the demo and I can't await to feel the final ones.

The multiplayer demo was grabbed with open arms, as it was the first time such a sense of speed was captured by such a well-rounded demonstration. As Dahie said, the physics weren't even being tested, they were examples, as were the graphics. The best sense of it is from the GTLegends demo, which shows the step-forward even using neutered physics and graphics engines.

Also bear in mind the actual game, awesome as it is, isn't the reason a lot of people are buying it. It's a platform which pretty much all modders will turn to. Most already have. If you want a modern F1 sim, this is the only place you'll be able to get it (if Bernie doesn't find out).

There are also some amongst our midst, who shall remain nameless, who actually have the release candidates.

I'm so mad that the game will never see stores, I would probably buy it but now I got to find another way how to get it (I hope that one of my school mates will buy it for me, of course I would pay him a little more than the actual game costs)

it costs the developers less to release on the net only. they get mabey 90% of the game sales instead of mabey 10%

If you can find a way to pay for a £3,000+ motorbike, you can find a way to buy a £20 game.

rFactor won't be cracked because it's aimed at a niche audience. If you want it, you have to pay for it.

It would be no problem for me if I would be old enough to have a credit card or to manage my bank account. My mum could be 'stealing' my money from the bank account as we speak because of the stupid laws. Fortunaly I have fair parents and they let my money to be only my money and if they need some they ask me if they can borrow it from me, but I can't imagine how would it be if my aunt would be my mum, I would be without money no dout about it, because she would take everything for herself.

The word stealing is between ' ' because by the law she wouldn't be stealing, she would just be taking her money that is on my account
