Anyone got a link for the GP2 mod? It can't be as bad as the 96 mod that's out.. ouch!

Anyway, i also recommend the new Champ Car mod - had a 100 lap race on the Las Vegas oval, and the quality of racing outstanding.

Thats a bit unfair, atleast the 96 mod isnt a gp4 conversion. all the cars are made from scratch, a lot of work went into that mod

Yes, you're right - sorry if that came across a bit harsh. I'm full of admiration for anyone who works to produce things for F1C - i guess the '96 mod just didn't light my fire :)

What exactly did you find terrible about it?

I only made the icons for the mod, but I hope everyone knows that the 96 mod was a ONE-MAN project!

So in that respect it's very impressive. :P

And to settle the GP4-F1C argument, I like both. GP4 for ultra detailed driver performance, and relative ease of track making now, and F1C for its simplicity and speed. :)

Fair point - i can't keep the same opinion now i know a single person did all that work - all credit to them.

Ah, thank for those links! It's quite a feat for only one person doing most work, and another painting - 45 mins. in the McLaren really shows though :\ - but I think if you guys accepted help it would be much better :D.

I agree with Gui, it would probably be better, if you would have some help from others.

There's an updated Williams which is actually pretty nice:

I must say, i disown my earlier comments. I've installed the new Williams, put in some V8 sound files for the relevant teams and started a season - it's quite enjoyable from a racing point of view. :)
