hah yeah exactly. LFS rocks. I used to play with KB and i thought it was great. Then i found you could steer with mouse. Now i use pedals and mouse

does the fact that i drive auto make it worse

and that k is my speed limiter and l is my reset button

i must be honest... but i didn't take much fancy to LFS either.. it was ok.. but i dunno.. it wasn't like WOW... like the first time i tried gpl or something like tha.. and yes.. i did use a wheel..

Nah, to be honest, I was a little underwhelmed myself. But then I took a step back, made a setup setup around Blackwood, which involved turn left under braking for a right hander, and visa-versa.

Since the full S2 Alpha was released, I've joined of a few of the GPG/vMax guys online, it's a truly awesome online - miles better than any other racing game. The slowest car on the game is also the most fun - the UF1000s around South City is some of the best fun I've ever had online. :D

Yup I remember trying S1 back then and never played it after that, but now S2 has come around im hooked :D It has to be the best racing game online

I think I'd have to agree with you there Gav. Racing alone, it just doesn't feel right, or really much fun in the way GPL or NASCAR feel. Online however, it's like someones flicked a fun switch to on.

Which makes sense as it is an online sim...

Single player in LFS is really just a practice mode for playing online. TBH... it's boring racing against AI when you can race against real people. It probably explains why I havn't touched GP4 in months!
