Strange GP1 Request

Hey! Me and my mate used to race GP1 a hell of a lot when we were younger, and we always used the team names/driver names that came with the game.

For some reason, don't ask why, i've decided to do a season on GP3 with the 1991 carset and wanted to put in these original names. Amazingly despite not having played GP1 for about 10 years, i can remember a lot of them, but not all. So i was wondering if somebody could be so kind as to post Crammond's original team and driver names for me.

Thank you! Loved reading some of the topics! Brought back memories of this classic game!

GP1 rocked It was one of the first games I had on my Amiga!

The only two I remember are Carlos Sanchez aka Ayrton Senna, and Robert Davies aka Mr. Mansell!

The original ones were - they were fictitious names.

There was another game on the amiga that used some made up versions - think it was Lotus 3 - The Final Challenge.

That had Crashard Banger and Alain Phosphate in it to name but two :D

Thanks for all the replies! I've managed to remember all the driver names now with your help, it's just the teams! Though i could just learn to live with it if they're not right! lol

GP1 rocked! I played it for a very long time, and I remember that once in the 1st corner in hockenheim almost everybody damaged their cars and in monaco I had 100% long race (81 laps I think) and I've won it for 4 laps. The bad part was that if I wanted to change the game level (from amateur (or was it novice ?)to a level higher, I think) I couldn't turn the auto gearbox on. The rain ruled and you could chose from more than 30 cars and I remember that ferrari was almost totally red.

I think it was the 2nd chicane it happened on mine (PC).

if you got the chicanes just right at hockenheim you could take them virtually flat out and miss the corner completely :D

u realise you can download the game and play it on the pc and chaeck out the names

anyway i made a copy for you of the team names

i downloaded the game but when i tried to get rid of it as it wouldn't work there was application called PLAYSCR which dellete saying this is being used altough im nott even touching the bloody thing. anyone know how get delete it?
