GTA:SA restarts my system after about 5 minutes or so of play.... which is just @#$%& bizarre considering my pc's rock solid, never crashes, never hangs...

piece of @#$%& software :p

Oh, 1 more. Anyone managed to get the personal MP3s to function like a radio? I've dropped in 70 tracks and in theory it should place adverts between them. But it doesnt, only once in about 20 tracks will it put in an advert :-\

ok, got the restart thing solved: anyone who uses the bundled nvidia audio drivers for an nforce chipset with ac97, uninstall them and dl the realtek ones (odd solution, but it works)

same prob as dave with the personal radio thing...

mmm graphics glitches :/

Nah that's not too strange - the nvidia ones are meant to be a bit poo if I remember. Another good thing about if you have the realtek ones is that you can now use EAX in games that support EAX 1.0 (I think it is 1.0, I can't remember), where as the nvidia ones buggered up this feature apparently and also caused other problems :D

Oh yer, and I think you can edit the radio settings in some script thing? I don't have the game but this is just from what I heard. See if there is a script thing for it in the mp3 folder thing or something?

GTA3 in its default form was as bad as this. Especailly for the people who couldnt actually use the menus (i was one). Then there was the FPS bug as it tried to load textures which made it unplayable for many at first.

VC was pretty perfect IIRC, but 3, and now SA are far from it.

ive made a discovery this morning!!

my sound problems (gun sfx mostly but other sfx too) go mute after stormy weather/raining but luckly after about 30 secs/ 1 min they do come back on and everything normal again.

also i had for 1st time since playing the game the constant low level noise in the background, its allwys there sounds like a helicopter or a car revving or something, i had to save game quit and then start game up again and it was gone.

its only happened once so far, fingers crossed it does'nt come back

also i found the basketball court today lol you can shoot hoops

i found an old face or should i say arse lol

anyone jumped of this building yet?

The most annoying thing about GTA: SA is that you can only save in your house, I am wating for the "Save anywhere mod"

Just had my first serious graphical bug. Driving along and i got a bunch of strange polys covering the screen. had to stop and wait till they had gone. This game is unbelivably buggy

That sound pretty bad, hopefully they'll release a patch soon.
Anyway for me it can't be much worse than GTA3, that freezed on my computer before I even got to the game.
