We just finished 1-2 :D

I qualified 2nd, was all over the back of the SFH K3 car for the 1st few laps, then after about 10 laps he slowly started pulling away - the pace was unreal, constant 46.x laps - he blew up just as he came to lap Matt, about 15 laps in, about 1.5 seconds ahead of me.

After that, led quite comfortably, continuing after the 1st round of pitstops. Must have been about 25 seconds ahead of Koop who was embroiled in a big battle with one of the SBRC cars for 2nd place.

Then I managed to blow a tyre spinning in the 1st corner, so limped back to pits and took a 2nd driver change.... went out, and went off again... they hadn't repaired the tyre

Limped back again, and ended up in 3rd place, about 37 seconds behind the leader, the SBRC #8.

Slowly started catching him and Koop, until Koop went off, and I was in 2nd place, then the SBRC car retired.

We just brought both cars home 1st and 2nd, nursed over the line, just about side-by-side. :D :D :D

Apologies to Matt, who I managed to barge out of the way at the hairpin. :(
