I just tried a C64 emulator and played one of my favourite games from back then: THE HOBBIT.

It's a "graphical text adventure". Doom3 and HL2 can kiss their polygons good-bye. This is real 3D - state of the art, stunning and life-like as it gets:

LOL, thats exactly what I did. I own the games, and I don't want to destroy them, so I play them on my disposable computer :)

I've played some of those very old games, but generally they were before my time.

SNES was my first games console :) But the first game I played was called "Grandma's Garden" for an ancient PC... one of those 'fits-on-a-floppy' 2D games with no scenery.
