Um, police brutality was what got this started a few days ago. The Met Police have killed 3 people now, with almost no consequences. Sh*t was going to eventually kick off if that continued, and it did. Now, when the police DO need to be more stubborn, they aren't, because the potential fall out from it would be monumental.
Nobody is making excuses for these tools out there destroying London, however to suggest that this started without reason is blatantly ignoring the deaths of de Menezes and Tomlinson. The latest death can be justified at a stretch, but it's the straw that broke the camels back.
