To prevent any further occurrences of 'foot-in-mouth' I shall now reveal that the user in question requested that I ban Steven aka BigBrother for life in exchange for the annual running cost for the site. This has nothing to do with Jorge Caranti, who was recently banned from this site for an entirely unrelated issue. I will not under any circumstances reveal the id of the user who made the offer, nor will I be imposing a ban. However, I'm sure he is well aware of the colloquialism, "I wouldn't piss on him if he was on fire".

Actually I did not make an assumption of any kind. I came to a logical conclusion, which relied on common sense. Nothing incorrect about doing that.

Also, you are the one who stuck your foot in your mouth by making a highly controversial thread like this, which divulges confidentialities and is guaranteed to prompt speculation as to who the users in question were. You cannot start a thread like this one and then criticise users for "making assumptions" as you put it. We reacted. Deal with it.
And anyway, many users have made pointed comments here, and I'm no more guilty of it than anyone else is. So singling out my post for an attitude problem was out of order, and even meets the criteria for bullying. Hence me keeping the original text of the post as it was.

I respectfully suggest that you take those facts on board, get off my case and stop your nonsense.
