There should be a part somewhere on here so you can see who is online to chat too. I never know when the people i want to chat to are on!

That would require another forum upgrade... which, as far as I know, isn't in the pipeline just yet.

Thing is though, it wouldn't work like a social networking site. We have some members here who we're mates with, others who we don't like/don't get on with. It won't be like Facebook, where people only get the option of chatting with others if those others are actually friends with them. For an extreme example of what I'm meaning, imagine if a troll like brnco/red 5 came here with the option of chat windows. We'd all get untold grief whenever he was online!

I do see your point, just don't know if it would work on a forum.
