Especially for the dog lovers

What the...? Debarking a dog???? Can people be that stupid?

Barking it's the way dogs talk. It's how they communicate. Duh!!! Why don’t also start cutting people’s vocal cords for talking too much. There are a lot of idiots who talk too much, and say a lot of stupid crap and no one tells them to cut their cords or to sow their lips together in order to prevent all the crap that comes out from their mouth from coming out.

When a dog barks can mean a lot of things: it can mean that someone is trying to rob your house, or the house is on fire, or even that something is wrong with you and he is trying to get someone’s attention. So, by barking, a dog can save your life. I have a Labrador Retriever and by barking she already warned us that someone was trying to invade our property.

If someone wants a dog that doesn’t bark (much), should get one from a breed that a dogs tends to be calm, and not one that tends to be hyperactive.

I love dogs, even more than humans, and that is one more reason why. Because humans can be that cruel to do something like this to something they love, and consider to be a part of their family. And dogs can still unconditionally love and be loyal to their owners even if they constantly are cruel to them.

Sorry to annoy you this but I had to vent a little about this, somewhere because I just can't stand this nonsense:-(:-(:-(

Cheers

I'm not particularly keen on dogs. Therefore I choose not to have one and hope there aren't too many around.

There's definitely some people at work whose vocal cords I'd like to remove very much though!

I'm of the opinion that women should carry a device with a light-sensor attached, which automatically restricts them from operating their vocal cords in areas of low light.

When the lights go out, the conversation stops. Just do what you gotta do, then let me get some sleep. ;)

Those people are stupid indeed. It's the same as with removing the tail. If you want a dog, you get the barking, the tail, the @#$%& and a lot more, if you don't want that, don't have a dog.

Ridiculous. That's like having a woman without a vagina.

On a more serious note, here in SA we have them to alert us of criminals in the night. Our Jack Russel probably saved our lives with a barking frenzy one night.

This is the way of the American pet. It is also a widespread practice to have the claws of cats pulled out. That removes a huge chunk of the cats natural behavior and expression, but apparently many americans are willingly trade that for not having marks in their floors and furniture. Getting a specialized tool and teaching the cat to use that seems to be too much of a bother.

I do believe that's what happens to women after marriage, or rumours to that effect. ;)

Anyway, I have a Doberman, she has her tail, and if a butterfly farts in the garden she goes off, much barkage! :-)

Tbf, there are instances where the tail is docked for medical reasons. I do agree with you if it's done for cosmetic reasons.
