I love the ending to Forrest Gump, very iconic with the feather from the start and the repeat of young forrest and future mini gump!

That said, I watched the Departed on holiday - my god, thats a brilliant film! The ending was so wham bam in your face, I did not see that coming! Highly recommended.

Wall-E may be "not just a kids film" but my God, it's boring as hell! That is one awful, awful film!

Never seen Wall-E, but the appearance of the robot in it reminds me of Johnny Five from Short Circuit.

It was a good movie, was fun watching it on a Wall-E/Kung Fu Panda evening!

The Business is a damn good ending. In Bruges is another one.

Technically the best would have to be The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. The last 20 minutes of that film is cinematic perfection.

Worst is Vanishing Point. A great film, and even a good idea for an ending, but my God it is horribly executed. A serious blot there.

Dazed and Confused is one film where I really feel like I don't want the film to end; I want to find out what happens to the characters and wonder about it. Not many films provoke that response in me.

Oh yeah, how could I have forgotten In F***in' Bruges?! Excellent movie, on lots of levels. Love the subtle humour in it.

Don't disagree. It has some great moments, but I find the whole plot(or lack of) hard to believe, and it left me feeling empty first time I saw it.

One film ending that left me feeling frustrated was The Birds. The ending is so sudden and unresolved I actually thought Channel 4 had cut the film showing short the first time I watched it. I really wanted to see the storyline unfold at least a bit more. But then that's classic Hitchcock I guess.

Glitter. I was really glad with it being ended. In fact, I have been looking forward to the ending since the start of the movie.

Having to endure a trailer of Glitter while I was at the cinema to watch another film was enough to convince me to stay well away from it. So, for the reasons you say, the ending to Glitter should be considered one of the better ones.
Mariah would still get it though.
