I was just watching Tv live from Copenhagen and minutes ago they nominated
the city.

Its close to where i live!!.

Was personally hoping for Chicago, but USA had the Olympics back in '96 so i guess that counted against them.

Glad that Madrid didn't get it. The amount of racism that Spain gets away with is unbelievable.

I at Chicago. They were so excited and thought they had it, and, NOPE! Probably the city that needed it most though in all honesty though. Must say though, Rio is the correct decision all around.

I might, *might* start planning my first ever visit to Brazil to see this. I'm not really a big Olympics fan, but I've always wanted to go to Rio and this is as good a reason as any.

Of the nominated cities, I think the right one was chosen.
