But feel free to copy the DVD! ;)

And something tells me that "MC" didn't get to much further.

Games still include "manuals"? ;) Last manual I saw was back in 98 with Falcon 4.0 (THAT is a manual! They even gave you a binder with it - just to print it today would run ~$30 alone!)

I still have the 1.44MB floppys. They were fun whilst they lasted. The whole relied on them. Now it's USBs!

And best game with a manual was GP3. I read that thing from cover to cover ;)

I couldve sworn it was 5 1/2. Perhaps here in the USA were just bigger ;)

The 1.44 Mb ones were 3 and someodd (Seeing how I apperently failed last go around. Probably 3 1/2. Doh!)

Apperently some in here have no clue about the 4.0 Manual. So....

Yeah, thats it. 600+ Pages, all of which are VERY useful. It's like (Insert religious book) but.... Better! It's all covered in there, heck, I wouldn't be surprised if you could start the real jet after reading that thing front to back ;)

no wonder you get a 600+ page manual, the game costs you $185,250 dollars!

and we're complaining about spending £39.99 on new games haha

Hell yeah. My first experience of computing was playing games stored on 5 1/4" floppies, on a BBC computer! Circa 1990-1991, it must've been. I remember you had to "lock" the drive after you stuck the floppy in, and I remember the "clunk" of it being locked.

Jeez, I remember too much about this.

About the vid above, LOL at the hairstyles! You just can't buy cheese like that.

By the time you end up going through about 1000 Joysticks probably ;) If you were serious, that's not the price.

You got a bleedin' binder???!! DAMMIT! My manual had no binder, of course the thing fell apart after like 5 months of intense use...An updated pdf manual came with Allied Force when I got it, but seriously, printing that thing would require doing fairly well in the Lottery...

The map of Korea was the best though. Friends coming round could never understand why I had such a detailed map of such a far-off country beside my computer! :D

Planning a secret take-over ;).

Ruben, that game is fairly old so you must be looking at people really trying to milk it! I thought the price when it came out was 40 dollars, right Smorrrrrrelicious?

A whole generation of Falconeers know how to get to downtown Pyongyang (Just the fact I can spell that should say something!) and drop some ordinance. If I was Kim jung il (Or what ever his name is!) I'd be afraid, VERY afraid. Hehehehe.

It's shocking what some people can do to a 11 year old game when they have the source code ;) So yes, it's lifespan has been greatly extended.

IDK what the price was back then.... Way to long ago for me to remember. I do remember seeing a Binder Edition back in around 2002 going for a whopping $15. Heck, the paper is worth more! Now a days the price is iffy. The old falcon guys usually sell theirs on forums cheaply to share the love, while if you go the ebay route...... Watch out.
