The first ASUS Xonar drivers for Win 7 were epic. After you installed them you couldn't run any 32-bit program (keeping in mind that even on 64-bit Windows, the majority of programs are still 32-bit). Firefox didn't load, even Internet Explorer wouldn't load (the 64-bit one did, but not the 'standard' one, as most plugins, such as Flash, don't work with 64-bit IE).

You had to go into Task Manager (which is thankfully 64-bit!) and kill a process. It then transpired that a patch for Windows Vista (which never suffered this problem) sorted this issue in Win 7! WTF?!

Regardless... how the @#$%& have Creative managed to have the best overall drivers for Win 7 on launch? Creative are traditionally @#$%& at drivers for new (and even old) operating systems.
