More or less exactly the same height as me then(I think). I've been measured as 6'1/2".

LOL, fair point!
Knockhill's climate can be very... interesting. When I was there for BTCC quali in 1999 I remember one session being stopped because of a torrential cloudburst. The track got completely flooded for a while. Luckily I could keep(almost) dry under a shelter at Taylor's Hairpin.

sorry to bump.

driving to Manchester airport this morning, i had to slow down after passing a black Porsche for some roadworks on the motorway, and while alongside i looked across and saw who i thought was ex-superbike rider Carl Fogarty. i only saw him from the side profile, and decided to slow down and see if his car registration plate would give me more of a clue if it was him or not, and sure enough, the numberplate was F06GY (like his nickname "Foggy";).

after the roadworks he zoomed off but i caught up to him a bit later, and it seemed he went to Manc airport too.

didn't meet him but it was cool just to see him, his car was just like this:

RIP Jules, never to be forgotten. #KeepFightingMichael

Doug Butabi: So anyways, I was standing there waiting to use the pay phone.
Steve Butabi: Yeah, he was, seriously.
Doug Butabi: And this guy who was on the phone, turns around and tips his hat like this.
Steve Butabi: And who do you think that guy was?
Doug Butabi: Emilio Estevez.
Steve Butabi: The Mighty Duck man, I swear to God, I was there.
Doug Butabi: Of course you were, you were the one who yelled the Breakfast Clubber's name.
Steve Butabi: I was like, "Emiliooooooooooooooooooooo."

At goodwood last year me and my father nearly met JB, we walked past him but didnt realise it was him until it was to late. On another note the only reason we went is because we got complimentary tickets from Derek Bell.

I met the old F1 designer Tony Southgate at Silverstone Classic this year. My dad wanted him to sign a plaque, and it just so happened I was with my dad when he met him. (We usually split up at F1 race meetings/Goodwood like stuff). Tony designed the Shadow DN5 and a whole load of late 70s, early 80s Arrows as well. Oh, and I met the Shadow principle in the 70s, Don Nichols. Mainly because he was with Southgate at the time.
