@Vader & Lopper: I'll try both ;)
@Chet: If you get into Ferrari, send me team shirts and caps ;)

However, revision wise; thanks for the great advice guys and i've started to incorporate them into the way I revise. I've set out a 5hr slot in which I revise the subjects. The ones I'm struggling in I give myself 2 hours and the others just an hour or so.

this time it's me. only two weeks till my oral exams on everything i had to learn in the last 2 years. :(. i'm quite happy with my preparation so far but the final boost will only work if you don't post interesting things here till i allow you to restart spamming this place. ;)

this is spam ;)

For oral exams, just get a quiet room to your self and what ever you have to speak about just keep talking the same thing out loud over and over. It'll help you a lot. Or whilst doing that eat something at the same or funny accents or something. It'll help you remember what you were doing when blurting that stuff out. I know I did that for my French Oral, whilst eating Bourbons!

Hope it helps :)

What I learned with oral exams is that you should never, ever try to get a full story in your head and just press the play button when you need to speak. You need to tell your story, not rattle it off.

Monil's idea is a damn good one TBH. I can vouch for that. One of the techniques I used when I was studying for my GCSEs and Highers was to eat Bourbons/Custard Creams/Jammie Dodgers etc. every so often during study sessions. It's a good idea to eat sugary biscuits like them, because the sugar content replaces the energy your brain uses up while you're studying.

i remember eating tons of chocolate prior to last years exams. might deliver energy as well but who cares about energy if it makes you happy.

Yeah, the happiness is part of the effect it has too. It triggers your brain to release certain chemicals, or something like that. Either way, chocolate's good.

Congrats! :D

Anyone know how to make a AS Revision timetable you're learning/revising stuff everyday? Right now I'm just going, I'll do this today and then maybe do a little of it on 2morrow and do something else 2morrow. It's all over the place. And plus getting your homework in place too
