Funnily enough for other people that want to use my computer that has been one of the issues ! I just try make sure they dont see anything they shouldnt lol!

lol! Chet i had the same problem... if my girlfriend uses my computer quickly to google something certain letters show up past sites/bookmarked ones from soem of her xmas presents!

any way to stop this doing it?

If you right click in the search field, you can clear it. Also, clearing your history will stop them showing up in the address bar

I use mostly firefox, especially under Winxp, when using linux, I use Opera or Firefox. Have Safari and Chrome installed too under XP, but hardly use those.

I used to use IE but when you look at the top of the page it says "We recommend to use Firefox as your webbrowser for more website features and better look and feel!" so I changed to FF 3 and tried Opera because I have it on my Wii...

Firefox for me too - in my opinion the best browser, especially with the 'awesome bar' and addons such as google preview
