Careful here. Being right wing doesn't automatically make you a Nazi. I think you should look up "nazi" in a good encyclopaedia.

McCain was bordering dangerously on extreme right wing. Calling your opponent one of "those people" was shocking. Dick Cheney calling him "the face of evil" was pretty horrific too. Ok not Nazi levels by any means, but bordering on scary extremes.

It's good to see a democratic president anyway.

I was working nightshift, so listened to it on my Zune. It is one of the most important elections in the world, it was important to me to pay attention.

I tried staying up as long as possible to see how it went, but fell asleep at around one.

The right decision I think, McCain seemed like a re-hash of Bush, while Obama has the right mentality to change America around.

Finally a smart decision by americans to elect Obama. McCain would just continue Bush's politics and that would suck.

This elections will definetely be reffrered to as one of the key moments of the history of the world.

This is big thing. Main thing is Obama's proposal to change tax system that will slam the rich on the benefit of the poor.
Him being afto american has more symbolic and marketing value than political. But his social programs are the most important thing about his presidency.
And ofcourse this elections will hopefully mean the end of the era of US imperialistic behaviour in midle east and other parts of the world.

For my country it will also make huge difference. Because we are poor country and we had to ask US for loan, and then another loan, and another loan. However we never managed to pay any of those loans. Some of those loans were written off in the end. But to compensate this our Country had to support US on the international plan. So our diplomats always voted for US proposals in United nations. And that made me and my countrymen sick, because we are against the wars in middle east but our politicians had to support those wars.
