It was a funny episode tonight and I like the special things they do, but they are doing fewer and fewer car reviews, which is quite essential in a car program like theirs...

Yep, that Renault item didn't make a lot sense, if they really wanted to make a car as fast as an Evo 10, they should have taken a normal 4 door saloon (and not a peoplecarrier) and a larger budget, so they really could equal the time the Evo did.

And the amount of car reviews last episodes is indeed very low.

Part of the problem is the big car companies aren't really rolling out anything drastically new, they just stick bigger engines in the front (or back) and add a s/x/r/t etc letter on the back and call it a new car.

At least they were testing something which brought something slightly relevant to those who can't afford a 430 though, rather than just fannying about. Was still quite funny in parts.

Was better than the previous fuel-economy run they did, the Audi to Edinburgh and back to London on one tank, though I still thought that was pretty decent.

Yeah I have to give it to that Jag, amazing economy for such a car!
