Is it hard to install more RAM, I added a new graphics card to it, so is adding RAM any harder?

It's basically the same, just check the motherboard manual to know in which slot you have to install the memory.

I'm against sigpics

It's easier. It's probably the easiest thing you can install.

Thats makes me feel better, another person told me that I would need an expert to install.

They're all lying to you, you do need an expert.

I'll come round and install it for you, i charge £50 per hour, and jobs like this take on average 7 hours to complete.

PM with your bank account details and sort code, and i will fly out form Nigeria to fix your pc.

lol!

speaking of ram, I have some older unused pc3200 ddr2 2x1gb sticks (total 2gb) and a matching dual channel pair of kingston 2x512mb sticks on the chance someone reading is interested.

just sold my old amd athlon 3200+ for 48 quid, didn't expect that!

so yeah, unused parts gimme a buzz if you are interested and include a genuine offer price - otherwise theyre gona go to ebay and end up in south africa like the rest of old pc parts... lol

Jenson drives it like he owns it; Lewis drives it like he stole it

If you don't know what RAM to buy, check what CPU-Z says on the memory tab. If you're still unsure, post a screenshot of that tab here and one of will recommend some. Hopefully you'll have DDR2 (the most likely), as it's dirt cheap at the moment.
