Nope. It won't kill anything. It's a little different and it'll integrate better with Google features and applications, but it won't take many users from Firefox. I have *counts* 31 addons installed in Firefox, and plenty of GreaseMonkey scripts too. Unless Google can give me all of the important features these addons give me, plus more advantages, I won't be moving.

I'll certainly give it a try, but it won't steal users from Firefox, or even Opera. It'll get some from IE and Flock I imagine, but not much.

Don't think it will kill firefox. Its based from Mozilla's source code and it will be full of google's unnecessary apps

Its fast. Actually, its very fast. And doesn't look as silly as the screen shots posted there.

Its still beta, but it has a long way to go. It needs to be a lot more customizable than what it currently is to make progress into the current browser market.

It'll still be in BETA in 2020. This is Google. Google Earth is still in BETA...

at least it's working

Been using it 5 minutes and I'm already certain this is the fastest browser I've used! Looking good so far

Back to basics... I feel like a newbie! hahahahaa!!!

its pretty fast, but the ctrl zoom i use doesn't work properly ( i like to sit on my bed, so i'm quite far away )

looks a bit bland, you can tell its beta, firefox still rules the roost

I wasn't expecting much but this browser is fantastic. All it needs is Mozilla-style addons and it'll be fantastic. It's superfast and really clean. It's set as my default browser, so I'm going to check it out over the next few days.

Hmmm.... I think I will sit this one out.

Nop, it really does crash chrome.

Ok, so now i've moved to chrome for a while and it does feel a vast quicker than FFox. However, its new so it will make everyone feel like that hehe
