Dodgy Email from Lloyds TSB

recieved this email this morning supposedly from Lloyds TSB informing me "Internet Banking has been temporarily disabled due to multiple login errors" and i have to input my account details and password ( yeah right!)













i followed the blue HTML link to the TSB login site

This email exists as a RBS (Royal Bank of Scotland) mail in an almost word for word copy. I suspect there are more banks too. Report it to Llyods and they will deal with it.

Paypal have recently sent similar things, fakes of course, and I have had many RBS and Halifax ones. ALl to be watched with caution.

There was an online problem with Halifax once, I actually got a hard copy letter in my post to tell me.

Reported the email to TSB online fraud dept this morning and reported the site to microsoft phishing dept too. some mug will fall for it unfortunately

I keep getting similar emails but from HSBC, which say there has been unauthorised entry into my bank account. funny that, as i don't have an account with HSBC...

It's spam, it doesnt matter if you bank with them or not. I dont know why you really bothered reporting it either, as TSB will just ignore it due to the sheer volume of emails like this that people receive everyday. It's an extremely common style of email fodder.
