I'm trying to think, is that better or worse than EAs push to pass in NASCAR?

I just stupidly reinstalled the '67 version (supposed to be revising for an exam tomorrow), and I must say, it's more fun than '65 I think. I originally uninstalled it after about an hour because it was too hard for me, that was two years ago.
Just done ten laps round the Glen, and got a 1:09 dead in the Cooper on the only one i didn't spin on :)
I'll keep practising (not today though :))

I suggest you practice on the Cooper, then the Brabham and then the Ferrari (passing on advice from top GPL guys!), no damage set.

And Gav, I swear that buying a very comfortable and decent quality chair is one of my priorities not only for my home in Ohio (for whenever I move in with my dad again), but for my apartment to-be later this month as well! Would be nice if you guys would also share some of your VT approved butt-holders here, but nothing in beige ;)

Got a lovely chair (for the money) from Viking Direct, Gui, but I believe it's only available in countries where stabbing is a competitive sport.

Click here for a cow that's been scraped out and then stuffed! Click on Business or Personal at the first screen (depending on how you're ordering...) and it should redirect you after that.

Even if you can order from the States, because the dollar is so weak at the moment, you'll end up paying probably double what you'd normally do.

Not really.

My bucket chair is ripped and patchy now, so I'm looking at a replacement like this at some point during the year.

My previous chair I left the wheels off for this reason, but I've noticed no real difference as I put them on this one. I don't find myself slipping away suddenly, though I'll notice I'm a tiny bit further back and just shuffle myself an inch or 2 forward on a straight. It's entirely in the sub-conscience though - it's certainly not something that affects me. The 'legs' of the base are flat though, so you don't have to install the wheels. :)

Bloody good as a standard chair too. They had them on offer for around £20 (£23 I think it was - £17 for the beige one) a couple of months back, so I bought one for work too.

Haha man that looks mint :D

I like the look of gavs chair, I'll probably go for that when I get round to it. I got a nice little cheap chair atm, but its not really that deep and most of the padding seems to have died now :\

Gav, does this mean you replaced that silly plastic balancing act?

Yeah :D

Best thing was, I've no idea how it ended up like that. I hadn't even noticed, then one day I realised I was sort of swinging around on the centre pole. :D

Had this thing for a year or 2 now. :)

Ooo, brand name noted in case I stumble across it here in the US, thanks! I don't have to worry about sliding off into the depths of a kitchen or bathroom because it's very common to have carpeting almost everywhere in an apartment or house (unfortunately, hardwood floors rock! My house in Ohio is like that :D) so I'll be standing still ;).

Dave, isn't that chair the one that Koop, Kipe or someone else from VT bought?

This makes it sound like you work in some sort of "Gentlemen's Club" ;)

Due to the voting system in Germany, Governments are always made up of coalitions of different parties. At the last election, an almost unprecidented result saw the CDU/CSU (rough equivilant of the Conservatives) go into Government with the SPD (rough equivilant of Labour)

This time is different! I will buy a new one, the current chairs shall be thrown away (I voted for burning them but stepmom didn't approve of it) and when I am moving in to my apartment I shall have a chair that will leave my butt delighted.

Nah, I don't need you to lend me your favorite chair. Though the director of the foreign language program at my former uni would love that ;)

Exactly... for them to say its a sim is wrong, but then who cares, me you and everyone else here knows its not and so will treat it that way. The only reason they say simulation is because of £, and if kids are stupid enough to buy because of that reason thats their problem. As a game I enjoy it alot but thats becaues like you said I dont expect it to be the top racing sim at all, I expect it to be fun. Same with the F1.06 for PS3, been playing that on a HD widescreen for a few weeks and its amazing fun. Exactly what it should be. Like I said for them to say its a sim is wrong but most of us are not stupid enough to believe it, and most of us know they say sim to sell.
