Has anyone else had one of those dreams that you just can't seem to forget? I had one last night, and i haven't stopped thinking about it all day. I don't really want to go into what it was about but it's really left an impression on me. Does anyone else understand what I'm talking about?

Besides the dreams you forget immediately after you've had them, I always seem to have extremely realistic and detailed dreams. Sometimes I even seem to know things in my dreams I cannot possible know IRL ;)

Don't have an example right now, may be tomorrow ;)

Most of mine are really boring, but I have a few every now and then that are very memorable or leave a lasting impression on me for one reason or another ;)

Paul, I don't know about your wet dreams (don't wish to know, nor do some F1 drivers ;)). I do know what you mean about the impression, have had quite a few. You're not alone :P

I wish I hadn't read that....

Everyone knows that million-to-one chances happen 9 times out of 10; indeed, it's a common requirement in fairy tales. If the human didn't have to overcome huge odds, what would be the point? Terry Pratchett - The Science Of Discworld

Coolest thing EVER is to be fully conscious in your dream and just decide to fly off :P

This is called Lucid Dreaming, and can be learnt.

Aye, I went through a stage many years back when I was getting quite proficient at lucid dreaming. The only problem was, I always woke up after a few minutes of dreaming, and it would be like 3am or something... and it was knackering me out, so I stopped.

Check, I always could fly literally btw. I was always chased by wolves (dunno why, never had any traumatic experience with wolves), but after a few times (in several nights) getting eaten by them, I learned how to fly (away). Great.
