I have been driving 2 litre Renault Scenic '99 for a quite long time, and only thing wrong with it is that it drinks petrol a bit too much. I have been able to get only 8 litres per 100km out of it(35mpg), which is quite poor considering last summer I got 5 litres per 100km(56mpg) out of our old 1,6 litre '88 Corolla.

At the moment I'm quite tempted to get an 1.8 Tdci Focus, or something other equally economical but good to drive, to replace it.

I have got a dark red 1995 VW Golf III 1.6l. I have had my driving license for almost three months , the car for almost two months but I am already head over heels in love with this girl. I know I will never sell it of my own free will. When my father sold our old-school VW Golf II many years ago I cried as hell...Now I've got my own VW and will never make my dad's mistake. :)

Due to the voting system in Germany, Governments are always made up of coalitions of different parties. At the last election, an almost unprecidented result saw the CDU/CSU (rough equivilant of the Conservatives) go into Government with the SPD (rough equivilant of Labour)

High octane fuel, such as Shell V Power (that's actually 99 RON though), BP Ultimate (97 RON and very expensive) or Total Excellium (97 RON) to name a few. As well as not exploding quite as easily they also put all kinds of cleaners and lubricants in. I run my 1.4 Honda Jazz on Shell V Power these days as it actually works out about the same price per mile with the extra economy, and gives it a bit more pull low down in the revs so you can potter about town with the needle below 1700rpm :) How well it works though just depends on your engines compression ratio and if it has a knock sensor or not.

Shell is the best of the higher octane fuels, I ran mine on supermarket super unleaded (which was like water), BP ultimate (not much better and far too pricey) and V-Power and while it helped lower down it's too expensive for me to run regularly. Esso fuel seems to be pretty decent though, and that's stuck at 105.9 at home so I'll run that until it catches up with the others (106)

Tesco 99

(that's 99% bioethanol to ensure you're engines seals corrode unless it's meant to run on the stuff, and 1% Chinese newspapers to bulk it up a bit!)

Any more you can name? ;)

Well, there's Shell, Petrobras, Esso, and some others around which I may be forgetting, but I normally go to YPF, and by normally I mean when my parents come over here, since I don't own a car :P

I currently have one of these

BMW 520i from 2003 with 6 gears.
I want another car though... I never really liked BMW and I want something more aggressive.

I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy

Nice car, 6 gears suck though I think, too much choice (unless you have a really powerfull car, but even then, you probably won't need the highest gear, or if you want to drive economical, the 3rd of 4th).

You should take the new Audi A4 ZaZ (never driven it, but at least it's in the same league as the 5-series and it looks way more agressive and just better.).
