Just found this site, where you can get free top gear recording tickets it needs to be 2 girls and 2 guys and 18+.

The waiting list is stupidly long, but I was one of the lucky ones
Took 3 years for my mate to finally get them, and that was constantly pestering them night and day for tickets.
In the end they give you a call and say "I see you've been applying for tickets for a while, can you do this date..."
Filmed on a wednesday, filming starts at about 1pm and you're there till 7 at night and thats all the time standing. There is no seating which pretty much kills your legs by the end of it.
Took 3 years for my mate to finally get them, and that was constantly pestering them night and day for tickets.
In the end they give you a call and say "I see you've been applying for tickets for a while, can you do this date..."

I had just returned to Portsmouth from London when a mate called and said he had some tickets, a few people were going up and would i like to come. I did, so got straight back on the train and made the epic journey to Elstree & Borehamwood.
Ticket said be there for 7pm. We should we would play it safe and get there for 6:30pm where we were told that they had already got enough people for the audience.
So, we went back to portsmouth.
We tried to claim travel costs off them, but they wriggled out of it because in the small print on the letter he got with the tickets it said that they reserve the right to let people in early to ensure audience capacity etc.
I felt like i was raped of 6 hours of my life.
