"this car really is like Robbie Williams, who'd have thought that behind the Take That nonsense there was a proper musician dying to get out"

If Clarkson's famous for anything other than cars and @#$%&-ups then it's having the worst taste in music of anyone ever. This just confirms it.

People who do those things are stupid and shouldn't carry a license. That 2nd video the guy should have not only signaled before changing lanes, but also shouldn't be following the car ahead too closely and above all should have seen the other car coming. The last one is absurd, poor guy. I wonder if there were any signs to warn drivers about that road work, and that bus/truck that hit him... amazing stupidity, you shouldn't drive so fast when you drive those large vehicles.

To be fair, it weighs a LOT. You don't just stop instantly in a vehicle like that.

I think Guimengo means that the bus shouldn't get up to that kind of speed anyway. Than you don't have to stop instantly.

So drive at 10mph on a motorway?

Thats how there are accidents !

Talking about roads, what pisses me of no end is drivers who will drive at a 40-50mph on a 60mph road, then get into a 30mph and stick at 40mph or so, like in front of a school or busy residential area.

Also ive noticed people get annoyed at you trying to overtake in this country, in Germany, Austria, Italy, and even France.. if your behind a car, they most likley will find a place to let you by...

Especially lorrys/trucks/wagons, whatever, if theres traffic behind them they will pull over.

The other day, travelling from Grantham (more or less where I live) to Cov, I was behind a car from Grantham to Leicster. Not just me, but I counted at least 10 cars behind me.

Like I said before, he was going 40-50 in the 60 zone and STILL doing it in the small vilages, even though in one of the villages there are two flashing signs saying 30!! there was no safe place to overtake, there was quite alot of oncoming traffic... had that been in Europe (in my experience) he would have let the traffic through.

"Trulli was slowing down like he wanted to have a picnic" LOL

That bus clearly looked like it was going just as fast as cars, and trucks and buses usually have to go 10 mp/h slower than the speed limit.

Well, no. And lets assume you are right. 70mph limit for cars, 60mph limit for lorries and buses, therefore he gets no time to slow down a massive vehicle, because some twat has put his cherry picker up in a stupid place.

The driver was not at fault in the slightest in that situation. When driving down the motorway, at no point should you be expecting hazards to come from the sky, hidden behind signs and be caused by service vehicles. Suggesting the bus driver could do anything to avoid the accident and should be held responsible just shows how little you understand of basic road laws...and common sense.

Regarding crane situation, workers didn't bother to set up a warning signs. So the bus driver could not do anything about that.
