I am visiting Sydney next month. I found out this shop Hobbyco that is located near to the hotel I am staying. The shop is at Queen Victoria Building.

I wanna visit them to see if there is any F1 models or stuff on sale.
I feel that their website does not help..
Can someone tell me more about the shop if possible?

Thanks!!

It's friggin huge is what it is. And yeah there is plenty of F1 stuff there, don't ask me what cos i've never understood what anybody the feck is talking about in that huge models thread. All i remember thinking at the time was it was obscenely expensive.

And for interest's sake it's only just moved to the QVB from it's old home on Pitt St. Mall (which incidentally is only like 2 blocks aways) so I dunno if it's downsized since.

What hotel you staying at? You're right in the heart of things if you're near the QVB, this I like.

PS hi everybody, been a while. Couldn't avoid a Sydney thread

Yup, lots and lots and lots of stuff in there.

Be sure to check out the giant Xmas tree in the QVB- it's normally really impressive.

Cheers!

Christ, I'd completely forgotten about that place! Haven't been there in years. Going to have to stick my head in next time I'm down that way.

So I am staying at the Metro Hotel Sydney Central, how far is it away from QVB?
Do I have to walk a long way to QVB?? Can someone estimate about how long it takes? Or should I take a bus?

yep that's about as sweet as you'll get for being near everything, including the QVB. Assuming you're talking about the Metro on Pitt St, i can't imagine there are many others though.

Do the bridgeclimb! mad fun.
