sold my pc for £100

ive just sold my old pc for £100 which about 6 years ago i bought for a whopping £700! the spec is very low so im not tooo fussed really:

celeron 566mhz
80gb hdd
geforce mx440
384mb ram
cdrw/dvd

now my sisters are going berserk at me because they have no pc lol!

i remember my first computer in 1995, it had 8MB RAM and a 1.2GB hdd, lol.

i saw a pc in Asda today, can't remember the full spec but it came with a 17" monitor in the box too, all for £350. would do nicely for someone just starting out with computers with not much knowledge and who just wants to do basic stuff.

how did you get £100 for that?! I've got one stuck in my garage with far better specs than that, no idea who would give me more than £50 for it!!

If it went with a Windows license (2000 or greater) it's worth around £30 for the software alone.

flogged it to my cousin. it actually has win 98se on it.
