a lot of my guests tend to hold a tight line through the corner, so they've turned in, aimed for the apex(the middle of the corner) and on the exit they hold a lot of steering lock on - thats if they havn't piled more on.. it's as if they think they'll drop off the planet if they run to wide on the exit. but if you hold the line to tight on exit you'll upset the car and could incur a spin. the hole point of the racing line through the corner is to try and straight line it as much as possible to maintain your speed, so you have to be wide on the entry, tight to the apex, and wide on the exit...

but where i mainly work it's just a coporate day out it's not a race school, so very little talent is required, just a little trust.

This Sunday I'll have another go at driving in Interlagos. This time it'll be a test - a racing school's owner (not Alpie's, I'll drive a Fiat Palio ) will see whether I have what it takes to be a professional racing driver or not.

I can't say that I'm apprehensive, but I'm not that calm either.

I'll drive a touring car because that's the opportunity that I have. When (and if) I start my career, I'll try to go to open wheelers as soon as possible.

Thursday I had another go at Interlagos, this time with a Fiat Palio. My lap times were something like 2:40, 2:38, 2:35, 2:12 (!). When I got back to the pits, the owner of the racing school came to me saying [irony]peacefully[/irony], "what were you doing?! 2:12 is this car's limit! if I let you go back to the track, you'll crash! you need to lap more consistently!".
