Despite the street tires and the very low rear wing angle the car had good grip (more than a road car anyway). I did not push the car to the limit because I was afraid of crashing it, so I can't tell how much grip the car really had.
The brakes were quite good. However, I was more worried with correctly doing the heel-and-toe than with the braking points, so that's another thing I can't really judge.
The seat was very disconfortable. The headrest was way too forward. Adding that to the thickness of the helmet, my neck was forced to be in an almost 45º angle with my column, what caused me some pain after leaving the car (the adrenaline didn't let me feel this pain while I was driving).
The 1st and 4th gears were a pain in the *** to select. The neutral position of the shifter was between the 2nd and 3rd gears; moving the shifter forward gave you the 3rd gear. Moving it left and forward gave you the reverse gear. Between those two positions was the 1st gear. There was no way I could select it, but, as it wasn't used in any corner, it wasn't such a problem. The problem was with the 4th gear. On the last 2 timed laps (= after driving for 90 minutes = when I was
really tired
) I missed it quite often. That's because in order to select the 4th gear, you had to move the shifter back (from 3rd gear to neutral), move it a bit to the right and then back again. It happens that there was a spring that pushed the shifter back to neutral position when you do the neutral-right movement, and, after driving for 90 minutes, your right arm just doesn't have anymore the strenght necessary to beat the strenght of the spring.
Anyway, it was fun.
