i only heard this the other night for the first time on Colin Murray's Radio 1 show, it's Ozzy Osbourne and Dweezil Zappa covering the Bee Gees' Staying Alive (audio only):



i think it's quite good actually, i like the main guitar riff in this rock-style.

I tottaly agree...

the biggest tw*t in the world, Blunt James, covered "Young Folks" by Peter, Bjorn & John:



the original has the whistling which gives it its character, he's just massacred it and turned it into a hill-billy country song, the mofo.

he's taken a poppy catchy song and managed to suck every ounce of life from it.

on the other hand, Freemasons have done a good job of covering Alanis Morrisette's Uninvited with a new singer:

and about that Keane Queen/Bowie cover, it's not horrendous, but it's not particularly exciting or different either. heard it on the radio the other day, listened to about half of it and then switched off.

I'm ashamed to say I quite liked that. It was good simple cheesy pop. Got bored of it after 10mins of course, like all pop.
