Just thought i'd add an update...
I'm through!
Got the letter through today, inviting me back, and also a copy of the assessment sheet used by Paul:
As a result, i'm feeling pretty pleased with myself :D
Next round is at the beginning of october, so i've got plenty of time to practice - and more importantly, to save up!

must be an error. he got 36/40, and they gave him an extra point, making 37. i think whoever wrote it just wrote /60 instead of /40.

i doubt it, 37 is written on it a few times, and the scores add up to 36, and it also says "36+1", totalling 37.

You know, i'm not sure what the 60 is for. Either he typo'd it, or there was an extra 30 points to add for the autotest. However (despite screwing it up a little), i don't think i scored just one point for that!
I might actually be going to the Brands round in September to help out in the pits. That should be fun

Just in case anyone wondered when the semi final is - it's tomorrow. I'm leaving at about 2pm to drive back up there, and am looking forward to it - as long as the weather holds
