Anyone here play it ?

Its good fun. More a game of a combination of Skill and Probability than Chance.

Im not terribly good at it, but ive noticed its the small details in the game that matter, ie like Just say a good card is added to the flop, if you bet alot, then people will possibly realize what you've got.

Only recently started playing it. Its quite a laugh.

Texas Hold'em here. A chap i work with has a poker table in his spare room, and we often have tournaments - a great way to spend an evening with your mates

I play semi-regularly at the local casino...used to play limit holdem-poker with my mates, but sadly not anymore....its a lot different playing with strangers because you can bluff and because no-one knows who the hell you are, you can double bluff them...gets them thinking all sorts of weird stuff....great exercise in psychology

Yup, we play texas holdem.

see thats the thing thats disadvantage playing with mates etc, like eagle said, with strangers its easier to bluff yr way through.

Almost every guy between 12 and 26 plays it in holland. You could say it's a hype here.

I do also, not that often, but i really like it.

never played in my life, but i sort of understand the principle behind it, and have read the rules on the 'net.

i was given one of these sets so will have to actually play a game one day to see how it works in practice, and not just in theory.



it also comes with a green playing cloth, like snooker table cloth.
