Bored with your day? Do you think the government is hiding something from you? Questioning whether Australia actually exists? Have you ever wondered....whether the Earth was flat? Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you...

THE FLAT EARTH SOCIETY!!!!

I can't work out if these guys are for real or not...seemingly they are! Take 5 minutes (you wont need anymore) to have a glance at their rubbish and just laugh.

When in doubt, always assume the least likely, or failing that, the most complicated conspiracy theory available!

It's only after we've lost everything, that we are free to do anything.

A teacher told me once about such theories. And he kinda supported one too :l

He told about a flat earth, like the one on the UN flag:

The south pole would be all round that flat earth. And he said the south pole was infinite.

Don't you realize that your DNA would get all muddled up in Jesus's?

This isnt a conspiracy theory. This is just outright stupidity. If you actually read some of there stuff you spot massive holes in there stories, such as sunlight.

Exactly Dave!

How would they explain day and night too...

For their system, it would rely on the sun moving over 'flat Earth' like a scanner, sprinling it with daylight. Say it went from left to right, well, what happens when it reaches then end? It would mean either the whole world would be in complete darkness, OR, the scanner would have to move back the other way, meaning from the right then to the left. Those places on the ends would receive daylight for much longer!

So wrong!

Or else they're just taking the piss outta of people like us. I bet you now, they're all laughing their asses off at us from their hidey-holes for us giving credence to their joke-theories. They'll have us believing that we never got to the moon, or that JFK was done in by the CIA, or that the Titanic was sunk for insurance next ;)

They explain sunlight and day/night decently well, with the sun moving in a circle above the earth at around 33miles (iirc) off the surface. A varying diameter causes the different seasons of the year.

However, when questioned about the times of year where the North Pole recives 24hours of sunlight, or 24hrs of darkness (which isnt possible using there model), there reply was basicly "Well only a handull of people have witnessed this, and there are more Falt Earthers than people who have seen this, therefore, we are correct." The person replied with "But there are more people who have not seen the USA with there own eyes, than people who have seen it, so are you suggesting that using your own logic, the USA does not exist? Or even better, there is more people who belive the world is round than belive it is flat, so therefore, we are correct, you are wrong".

He was banned, of course. Because he was right.

This isnt a conspiracy theory. conspiracy theorys at least have some logical backing behind them. A motive, and backup, no matter how daft it may seen. The Flat Earth society have admitted they dont know why this is happening, and that the nobody has ever seen proof of the earth being flat, or the ice walls which surround the earth (according to them). They ignore basic physics and even claim stuff like minimum wage is fixed by the government to be low enough so that we cant travel to see these ice walls. They claim every government, and everyone with the ability to see the ice walls (private jets/boats for example) are in on it too..but they dont know why.

It isnt a conspiracy theory. Its 110%, Grade A, horse sh!t. Its a windup, or its a group of people with serious problems. Take your pick.

Of course we don't take them seriously, but some of the ridiculous threads make damn entertaining reading!

If the earth were round we would all fall off. Mars appears in the sky as a disc, there is no life on mars because you would just slide off it. If we assume the earth is much like mars, then it is also a disc, but it is orientated correctly so we don't fall off it!
