OK, SO I HAVE BEEN PAID. I now have some money avaliable to me. Now, Im a person who likes to consider his purchases carefully. Anyway, I need a belt. A leather belt. A plain leather belt. I have seen this:

belt

This seems to do the job, ill buy a decent buckle on that.

Does anyone with anymore experience in belt purchasing have any other reccomendations?

Something that holds your trousers up is generally a good purchase IMO. ;)

id say that would depend on circumstance or nature of employment ;)

You see. I took that into account. Which is why I have a nice looking, but more importantly, "seat belt" type belt. It's literally like an old lap seat belt with a Mustang badge on the clicker thing.

Quick release. ;)

Way too much for a belt which doesn't even have a buckle.

Having worked on a farm for years, I can highly recommend baler twine for that 'rugged' look.

you could always save your money, and do what the tosspots do and not have a belt. and have there pants hang halfway down your hips.

When I see that, I take out my trusty staple-gun ;-) That belt needs studs. lots of studs.

I'm with Gav on this one. Save your money, use some heavy duty string. 3 benefits to that:
1. Cheap
2. Looks rugged
3. Quirky, Chicks dig a man with a sense of humor and an ability to stand out
in a crowd ;)

what you really need are some red braces ( leather trousers are optional, unless your name is Gui, then its a definate);)

yep, i agree with Gav. have you seen the Simpsons episode where Apu does lots of romantic things for his wife for Valetine's Day? and Mo is a cheapskate and has the twine for a belt and bread bags for shoes?
