First one i ever remember was for Kinder eggs when i was a 12 year old school boy, the advert was kind of freakish with this humpty dumpty character in it, but we loved it some spoil sports complained and it got banned
I remember the Metz adverts with the Judderman, which were meant to be slightly scary, in the lines of hansel and gretel lost in the woods type of thing, really cool though!, yet again some spoil sports got it taken off the air
And apparently the Weetabix advert with the scarecrow who lost his scare has now been taken off air * sigh *
Do you remember any scary tv ads that had to be removed due to complaints from parents etc?
Post them below
LS's Tip of the week ESSENTIAL OILS aren't essential unless you're an engine, a gearbox or a twat
Its not a advert, but I remember being terrified by a freaky Loony Toons cartoon from 1950, 'The Hypo-Chondri-Cat' when I was young. These two mice convince a hypochndriac cat that he's dead, and in the end they attach ballonns to his back and add wings, and he floats up into the sky, believing he's dead! He says in a really shaky voice "Goodbye, you earthly creatures"
Scared me loads, really freaky! Plus there was this tripped out dream half way through! Can't find it online though

WTF is wrong with that Metz advert? I can remember seeing that years ago and thinking it was cool that someone had actually used scary puppets in an advert. It wasn't "scary" though, just a bit freaky.
