Don't have much of view on Keane, I can't get excited about them, but on the other hand I find them inoffensive - guess I'm passive to them.

Muse, imo, suck ass. Ridiculous. pompous garbled songs. Plus, they were ruined fro me one someone pointed out that you can hear everytime he takes a big gulp of air - listen out for it, and after you notice it, its all you can hear! So annoying. Awesome live though, just not on cd.

One thing this forum unfortunately suffers from is musical snobbery.

Groups like Cold Play & Keane get unfairly treated in my opinion.

In my 37 years of life on earth, most of it has been a fan of music, not tied down to a particular genre or social group.

I enjoy a wide variety of musical tastes & acknowledge different types of sound and music.

No ones opinion is any better than anyones else when it comes down to preferred musical taste.

I'd rather read no comments than negative ones about groups people dont like.

Whats the point about being negative about something as creative and passionate like music

All thats lacking is a bit of mutual respect

If Cold Play or Keane made music that was out of tune or badly played their instruments then fair game, but both have crafted equisite compositions and have proved immensely popular.

If you dont like mainstream music then fine, but dont bad mouth it because you dont appreciate it.

Theres probably plenty of country and western music you'd immaediately disprove of, but it does'nt mean that its not good or as viable as your chosen type of music

I like heaps of genre's of music aswell mate, infact anything with a rythm in it ill probably like.
