some people wrecked the locks of my house and they stole my entire alcohol supply (which was gigantic)
maybe not as bad as global warming, but almost!
i'm furious :|
not sure why only my drinks are stolen, since it was relatively easy to take all sorts of audio equipment and computers as well...

I don't drink alcohol but I do understand the disaster. I apologize if my first post doesn't demonstrate it, it all had a huge value because it's where he spent some of his money on so it does matter just the same as if he had a tv or something else stolen, of course! I simply wanted to state something that could be an alternate point of view, imagine calling the police and telling them someone stole your "entire alcohol supply," I imagine the cops wouldn't care much.

Not that I don't sympathize at all with ZaZ, I really do and am sorry for that. It's sad that so many people in this world are ignorant.

I'm more than capable of hating that myself. It's a stupid statement to suggest that break, enter and steal of alcohol is a crime that would not warrent an investigation. It's completely uninformed and idiotic. Furthermore, he suggests that it may have been one of Zaz's friends. Now, I don't know Zaz personally, but for some reason I doubt anyone of a right mind would associate themselves with people like that. Think about it, it was a pretty stupid thing to say.

Not at all uncalled for. Gui is being ganged up upon for what? Saying something which you regard as being less than intelligent? Judgement upon judgement is being piled up on him, and in CAPS for crying out loud. What is this supposed to accomplish? Does belittling him make any of you any better? Does it make him any better? Does it in fact improve anything at all...

And it is not even so, that Gui is wrong. In most countries, breaking and entering, even buglary is typed up as a report and then filed away, because manpower and ressource shortages dictate, that they are not worth investigating! Show me any country, any country at all, that solves more than 33% of all such cases.

Actually, show me a country that comes even close.

You didn't ask for this Gui, and it is not right, and I am no more nor no less involved in this than you are. We are supposed to be a community, and that means that we are all connected, like it or not. It is people that have been here from the very start that are part of this. One would think that they would have realized by now, that there is no tree so foolish as to have branches that fight amongst themselves.

And ZaZ, sorry to hear about your loss. But perhaps it was better that it was the booze, rather than so many other things it could have been.
