yer i just found out a while ago, terrible news, the best ever touring car driver in aust and indeed one of the best in the world just gone, unbeleivable.
how unlucky was he, just like steve irwin the stingray could have got him anywhere else and he would have been better off, brocky was unfotunate that the only place where the car hit was directly in the drivers side door, no where else.
RIP We Will Never Forget You

He'll be sorely missed. His efforts for road safety were second to none and he was such a nice, down to earth bloke.

RIP Brocky

The King of the Mountain is dead, Long Live the King
What a tragedy for Australians, I am reeling, for Aussies to have lost two heroes in one week is just too much to take. Our nation is grieving.
RIP Peter Brock and Steve Irwin.
Two great people I and many others admired for being such good role models for Aussie kids. I'll be having a beer or two in their honour tonight.

Another truly sad day for Australians.

First Steve Irwin, next Peter Brock, who else will be the next to go?

Condolences to Brocky's wife and kids.

I'll think I'll join you in that beer, mortal.

did you see in the F1 today, MS' race engineer, Aussie Chris Dyer, had a message on the back of his clipboard? it said "Farewell PB" and a pic of a car on it.

RIP Jules, never to be forgotten. #KeepFightingMichael

Everyone who has won Bathurts so many times must have balls of steel. Goodbye PB - you joined the big race in heaven.

no one has come close to winning Bathurst as many times as Peter Perfect.

What an absolute shame, he'd given so much to the motorsport community in particular and the wider community in Aus as a whole and sadly he had a whole lot more to give as well.

He will be missed

Congrats to the V8 organisors for recognising Peter by naming the Bathurst 10000 winners' trophy in his honour- truly a fitting a tribute
