Which is really expensive and has all but two buttons on the gear shift. Which sucks, you don't see any driver in any motorsport having to feel around for a gearstick to change anything in the car, apart from brake balance ;)

I got a MOMO Racing Force (black) from Ebay as a replacement for my MOMO Force (the better red one) when it went tits up. It's been pretty faultless, if not as good.

I want to buy a new steering wheel too. That Momo and Driving force Pro are both very nice, but they both cost millions. Are there any decent steering wheels in the range op 75 euros around? (preferably no Chinese Ching Chang rubbish, I have bad memories with those ;)) Or do I have to buy the Momo or Driving force Pro to have a decent one?

tbh with you mate, compared to the other high quality wheels out there, i woulc class the momo and DFP to be mid range wheels

Yup - I don't know of anything for that sort of price. The lowest I'd consider is the black MOMO to be honest. Perhaps an MS Sidewinder off of Ebay?

I've seen some MOMOs on Ebay, but is it smart to buy a second hand?

I can only offer the advice I've had, but as I've already said in this thread, I bought mine 2nd hand to replace my red MOMO. No issues at all.

saying that tho, the black momo's biggest fault is the pedals, of which you dont use..

What's wrong with the pedals then?

rofl

after a period of time say 6-8 months they start to loose calibration, you can fix this by applying tape around some parts of the pedals, which does work, but it hasnt worked for everyone... most tho.

i've never had a wheel, but am tempted by the Williams F1 wheel for the PS2, i figure i can use it for my PS2, but mainly i can use it for GP4 though my PS2>PC usb adapter, through which i currently use a PS2 pad.

it's by Joytech and is very cheap, so is it worth it?

[cgi.ebay.co.uk]

i definitely want one with F1 style paddle gears, but not an expensive one. there is also a Jaguar version i think, but don't know which company made that.

RIP Jules, never to be forgotten. #KeepFightingMichael

Personally, I'd buy anything on this page that's round instead: [computers.search.ebay.co.uk]

There isn't anything worse than a cheap wheel. Joysticks aren't so bad because they have limited travel anyway, so a lack of resolution and precision isn't such an issue. It is with a wheel though. Trust me, I've been there. Twice.
