New Look Forum

I'm always in for a change and it's not too bad. The orange touch is really nice but I would love to see more contrast between the light grey and white.

if the buttons would be put inside the post box and they would look like post button, then it would also be nice if every post had a thin orange border (the same color as the buttons)

Personally i think it looks awful, i dont like the white at all.
The old forum looked better. even if i didnt act like it should all the time :P

kinda weird that the google ads are now in between the third and fourth posts down too... guess that's a bug :p

just a question, why doesn't the forum incorporate the sidebar thing that gives the poster's name, avatar, and posts, etc...?

Thanks. The amount of work I did was very limited, but I know Stephan has been working on this for quite a while. Actually, long before the site was taken down for maintenance.

i'd always been of the opinion that the forum needed a major overhaul. the format was too messy and inefficient. for example, quoting another user is a nightmarish jumble of lines and arrowheads. this is really poor in comparison to most other forums which manages to separate the quote from the subsequent post. in effect, nothing has changed apart from the colour scheme, which has gone from dull to even duller. orange and grey is a nasty colour scheme.

I like it. Looks like a forum now, rather than a splash of randomness like the old one looked like.

Personally I liked the text to be separate and identifiable from the title, poster, etc. and the sig. I know the sig issue hasn't changed from the last one, but take a look at Lemming's sig, everyone needs a dividing line like that between text and sig. Lemming dude, let me know how to do that via PM please
