tbh, I wasn't all that sure after missing a day on the flight back... that @#$%& all happened while I was sitting in the media centre emptying cards (2gb ain't enough for a day shooting!)... just checked the stack of press releases I have tho so here you go:
Lap 10 - 12:36 (4:14 PM) - There is a tight four-way battle for sixth place between the no. 39 Porsche, no. 99 Pontiac, no. 12 Pontiac and no. 89 Pontiac.
Lap 11 - 13:55 (4:15 PM) - FULL-COURSE CAUTION as the no. 8 Porsche, no. 99 Pontiac, no. 39 Porsche, and no. 12 all are involved in an incident just after turn 11 and there is heavy debris on the race track. The no. 8 Porsche was limping on course and attempted to make its way down pit road, but turned in front of an oncoming no. 39 Porsche, which made hard contact with the no. 8 machine's front right, sending the car spinning. The trailing no. 99 Pontiac collected the spinning no. 8 car, which sent the no. 99 Pontiac hard into the outside retaining wall. The no. 12 Pontiac caught a small portion of the incident and sustained right-front damage.
MEDICAL UPDATE: Burt Friselle, driver of the no. 8 Porsche involved in an earlier incident, was examined and released from the track medical center. Rocky Moran Jr., driver of the no. 99 Pontiac who was also involved in the incident, hs a suspected lower left leg fracture and will be transported to St. Mary's Medical Center. He was awake and alert following the incident.
