Here's a link to the picture (It will take a while to load if you've got slow internet):

I know the quality isn't all that good, I don't spend as much time as some would and I only did it in paint! :S

Plus, I couoldn't think of a name for it.

wow its awesome, BUT a bit too many corners!

Jenson drives it like he owns it; Lewis drives it like he stole it

Well it's a long lap, monaco has 17 anyway. If you put some real gradient in there and make som eof the corners really dare-devilish this track would rule !

too generic, too designed... should find an area and use its topography to design a track, tbh - since there are no limits with pumping out a fictional design unlike designing a real circuit :P

Brutal, but honest in my opinion. What I've done in the past when bored in hospital was take a sheet of A4 paper and a pencil, hold the pencil at the top and draw a wavy live round the outside of the sheet. Then, draw a wavy section in the middle.

When I've done it in the past it allows you to create something flowing like Spa, and not be restricted by space.

Yes, I was rather bored at the time :P

When designing a track would you have to consider the regulations??

I mean some of the corners on that track are far too long, and it would be impossible for a car to follow behind.

Which is why Tilke has a slow corner, then a long straight.

Its a basic receipe for overtaking.

Yeah, I didn't take things like that into account really. I just made it thinking of how good it would be to drive on.

The straight at the Herman Rodriguez circuit has provided plenty of overtaking and we all know which corner leads into that :)

The problem with Tilke's tracks are they are designed for Formula 1 cars and nothing else. Look at Bahrain. Drive that in an F1 car and it's dull, but not so dull you can't tolerate it. Drive it in a saloon car or sports car and you really question why you're bothering.

In my opinion a track should be designed to be a good track generally, and the natrual speed of an F1 car shouldn't be a factor - it should just be "yes its bloody quick, because F1 cars are bloody quick."

Without further ado, here's a track I drew up based on roads in my town :)

I could draw one, but I don't think the F1-cars will make it over the speedbumps, as they are everywhere. Although it would make the races interesting.

Heh, I did one of those earlier today too! It's nowhere near as good, though. I didn't make it actually thinking it could be a track, I just did it for fun.
